Does GW and GameCam Support 64-bit Vista?
Helloy m8s...i just bought a new computer and my 64-bit vista is arriving next tuesday so i was wondering if GuildWars and Gamecam works in 64-bit...anyone knows? I got bored to my old comp crashing all the time so i bought a supercomputer in pieces and it costed me something like 1700??? :P i have never built my own computer and when the pieces arrived i was like "O.o hmmm okay let's start from this...what is it called...oh a motherboard, now, where should i put this?!?!" :P took 7hours to figure everything out without using manuals or stuff O.o. I hate wirejungle at the end :P anyways that was offtopic sorry. so does anyone know if those softwares work in 64-bit or not? Thanks for your help =)

No, I don't think it does. Last time I checked, Guild Wars doesn't support Vista.

It works fine, but why 64-bit?
if your buying the retail copy, it comes with both 32 and 64 bit versions... install the 32bit version and you'll have no issues, but you will do with the 64bit version as driver support is a laughable joke If you ordered the 64bit OEM, ring your supplier and change to the 32bit version if you can |

I have Vista 64-bit and Guild Wars plays Great on my computer.
The reason people such as I want the 64-bit version is becuase the 32-bit only supports up to 3 gig's of memory, and I have 4 gig's. Anything over 3 gig's of memory with a 32-bit system and the OS will only see 3. Yes the drivers do suck right now for alot of the new stuff, as they always do, but its the future, and they'll only get better from here. |
